Psalms 53 - Who Are The Fools

1 For the choir director; according to mahalath, a maskil by David.

Godless fools say in their hearts,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt.
They do disgusting things.
There is no one who does good things.
2 God looks down from heaven on Adam's descendants
to see if there is anyone who acts wisely,
if there is anyone who seeks help from God.
3 Everyone has fallen away.
Together they have become rotten to the core.
No one, not even one person, does good things.
Psalms 53:1-3 (GW)

Reflection of B:

The above passage shows that those who say in their hearts, “There is no God.” are:

- fools
- corrupt
- do disgusting things and not good

It will be an endless debate if we were to argue over if there is a God. Instead, if people are wise enough, the creation itself has already proven that that must be a Creator, God. The human nature of sinning is the same in Adam's time as it is now, but maybe more obvious these days. Disbelief, rebellion, disobedience, and falling away from truth are seen more and more. May God help us!

Dear Lord,
I pray for those who do not know You or say that You don't exist, that they will soon find salvation in Christ and glorify You for Your creation.
In Your great name I pray. Amen.
