Psalms 75 and 76 - Right Time Right Judgment
1 For the choir director; al tashcheth; a psalm by Asaph; a song.
We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks.
You are present, and your miracles confirm that.
2 When I choose the right time,
I will judge fairly.
Psalms 75:1-2 (GW)
7 You alone must be feared!
Who can stand in your presence when you become angry?
8 From heaven you announced a verdict.
The earth was fearful and silent
9 when you rose to judge, O God,
when you rose to save every oppressed person on earth.
Psalms 76:7-9 (GW)
Reflection of B:
Judgment has its timing though often we thought that God is slow in judging the wicked. God is gracious in wanting the wicked to repent, but surely He will judge when the time is right.
Dear Lord,
Teach me to be patient to see Your justice being done for those who are unjustly treated. I pray that You will come quickly as You have said in Revelation.
In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
