Psalms 120-121 - Safe In His Hands
1 A song for going up to worship.
When I was in trouble, I cried out to the Lord,
and he answered me.
Psalms 120:1 (GW)
1 A song for going up to worship.
I look up toward the mountains.
Where can I find help?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let you fall.
Your guardian will not fall asleep.
4 Indeed, the Guardian of Israel never rests or sleeps.
5 The Lord is your guardian.
The Lord is the shade over your right hand.
6 The sun will not beat down on you during the day,
nor will the moon at night.
7 The Lord guards you from every evil.
He guards your life.
8 The Lord guards you as you come and go,
now and forever.
Psalms 121:1-8 (GW)
Reflection of B:
Psalm 121 is a chapter I have memorized (King James version) as somebody had put those verses into music to be sung. In times when I felt helpless, I would remember this Psalm and sang it to encourage myself. Yes, surely my God does not sleep at all. He watches over me day and night. I am safe in His hands.
Dear Lord,
Thank You for watching over me day and night. Thank You that I need not fear anything or anyone when I walk with You.
Praise You! Amen.
