Psalms 82 - He Will Judge the Earth

8 Arise, O God!
Judge the earth, because all the nations belong to you.

Reflection of B:

I have been watching the detective TV series recently. As I watched, I could understand why two of the characters took law into their hands to punish the law breakers. The reason is that the law of the land may not be able to pin down the culprits due to lack of 'evidence' even though you are sure who the culprits or murders are. The sense of injustice prevails and makes me somewhat agitated when the culprits run loose.

Yes, we are living in an imperfect world that is full of sins and lawlessness. Human laws are limited in bringing justice to the world. But we know that there is a judgment day fixed by God. He judges the world and brings about justice and peace forever one day. For the nation belongs to Him.


Dear Lord,
Though I am saddened that injustice seems to be prevailing, yet, I thank You that You have promised to repay people for what they did. You will reign. Praise You.
